Hi all,

For all of our members, moderators and admins, we wanted to give you some insight into how we process your reports. In case any of you are unaware, when you notice something inappropriate or worrying on the site, you’re able to Report it to us by following the steps in this article: support.healthunlocked.com/... .

--------------

What happens when you report content?

After every single Report, an email is sent to all the Moderators and Admins of your community, as well as to the HealthUnlocked Support team. We can see the note you include in your report, the reason why you’re reporting someone and the content/ member that you are reporting. Please note that when you report private messages, your report is only sent to the HealthUnlocked Support team.

The Support team read through every single report made. If you’re reporting a spammer, we will remove them from the site after receiving your report. If you’re reporting some kind of community issue, we might get in touch with you or your community admins to get more information.

Please note that reports are the first thing we respond to, because they could highlight more vulnerable users or high-risk content to us. This means we generally act more quickly on reports than to private messages sent to us on the site, or to Help Centre emails.

-----------------------------------------

We asked you in a previous post, about your opinions on our Report feature as were looking to improve it: healthunlocked.com/latest/p...

Following your feedback, our new Report categories are:

Spam

Self-harm

Underage user

Inappropriate

Other

Your safety and comfort are always our absolute top priority! Please get in touch with us if you ever have any concerns.

Best,

Hi, Vesa.

What about the NHS?

Is there no NHS representation on the NHS weight-loss forum?

Some doctors refer patients to us for weight-loss advice, so I think we should be tactful in drawing attention to what we might regard as failures of the NHS ...and I have considered reporting adverse comments re the NHS.
