We are reviewing and improving how we ‘tag’ posts on HealthUnlocked to improve their quality in response to your feedback. Tags help people to find information on particular health conditions by grouping all posts with the same tag together. They are automatically assigned every time a person posts into a community on HealthUnlocked.
From this week some users may start to see some of the following changes when they post to the platform:
New look for tags: Tags will appear slightly different to visitors to the site, making them easier to see and read.
Review and removal of tags when you post: Some people will be asked to review the tags on their post prior to posting. We are initially testing this with just a few randomly selected posts as they happen, so not everyone that posts to HealthUnlocked will see it.
You can see more details on the changes and details on how we use tags on our latest blog here; blog.healthunlocked.com

Dear Laura,
I like the changes you have made so far and the site looks smarter overall.
I'm pleased that you are looking at tagging posts.
A few weeks ago I made the comment that HealthUnlocked worked very well for new comers, like a happy and friendly chat forum. This is probably a majority of members, perhaps 70-80% of users. But I found I was using the site less because it was not obvious how to search for posts that related to how my was CLL developing. It looks as though "tagging posts" will help longer term members find information relevant to their conditions.
Thank you to you, and the staff, administrators and volunteers for listening to our concerns and making changes,
Content on HealthUnlocked does not replace the relationship between you and doctors or other healthcare professionals nor the advice you receive from them.
Never delay seeking advice or dialling emergency services because of something that you have read on HealthUnlocked.
