Hi everybody, I dont know if anyone can remember a few weeks ago I wrote on here about my concerns for my husbands up and coming operation ( he had major surgery last year and nearly died, due to his lungs respiratory failure, we later found out and was put in a drug induced coma). Well we got a phone call yesterday saying his operation was booked for Monday morning the 17th, we first thought it would be after xmas. So now all my worries and fears are starting up again, since when he had his pre op assessment and we found out his breathing had deteriorated. So I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that all goes ok and am asking for other Lung Sufferers to do the same please,then at least then I know I am not alone in this, I know you all have your own problems but I am thanking you all in advance and Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Julia xxxxxx

Dear darceynjo! Just to let you know will be thinking of you & wishing you a happy outcome of the op.
As you are aware I had an op a few days ago,and thank god all was ok.I can realy relate to the fear you are feeling now,I also had an op. 12 months ago,finishing up in icu,for some time.So of course, on learning i had to have another,i was very apprehensive about it.Fortunately I was to be operated on the following day, so did'nt have much time to dwell on it!
well all went well, and did not even go to icu.My lungs managed well this time,we are all different,but I will say a prayer that you will have an happy outcome as well.
