I'd better not say too much about my dragon or else I might be locked in a room myself ! :)

Hugs lizzie and yes he's been after me this weekend as well always crops up at times of angst like your worry with your son and these are certainly the trying times give yourself a pat on the back and keep your guard up -its a kind of full time job but lets keep on hoping it will get easier -to me at the moment kind of enjoying the fight but certainly not out of the woods yet - still wearing a trusty patch x

Wear anything you like as long as it is not a cigarette! Keep on keeping off the weed. ;)

You are sooo right, however as each day goes by it is getting easier and I am aware of how to deal with it - compared to Day 16 which was horrible!!! I agree we are not out of the woods yet - but I think we could safely say, we have wandered through a copse!!! What do you reckon? I feel far more in control of that ruddy dragon now and not the other way round. x

What I reckon is lizzie we are now ex-smokers and yes you are in control -embrace day 16 as I embrace the day when I stopped breathing (as I thought at the time for good) eleven weeks ago when I was walking up a wee hill and told myself then to stop or the weed as auntymary so rightly refers to it would stop me x

I can't say that I embraced the day that the doc said I might have cops, but am delighted that you and I have got this far and will continue to succeed. I just pray we are both given more time and quality of life. xx

You have done well. Don't let that dragon anywhere near you. He will try, but resist!

I reckon for me (and we are all different) that by the 5 week stage I was thinking 'there is no way I am undoing all that hard work now'. I didn't.

You are very nearly there and we are all very proud of you.

Lynne I am dead proud of you tooooo. Yes, as the days go by you look back and like you think "I couldn't go through all that again" and I don't intend to.

Thanks so much for your support, strange isn't it that there is more support on here compared to any doc's surgery.

Well done lizziec1 and Lnne also all those who have beaten the weed :-) To those who have waivered don't despair, just pick yourselves up, dust yourselves off and start all over again.
