Pfizer vaccine

I had my covid vac. today ( Pfizer version) at my local πŸ‰ ground , very well organised and it went like clockwork ,( thankfully not orange πŸ™‚) I was seen on time and the whole thing took just 20mins . I do think the smell of hand sanitiser was a little over the top and the guy who administered the πŸ’‰ was keeping his distance a little to much , I did ask him if he was good at darts which went straight over his head but never mind we weren't there to socialise , so my first dose is done and ill be informed when and where my booster or second dose is to be administered.

I have heard of people getting flu like symptoms 🀧 which I'm told dissappear very quickly ,ill obviously let everyone know if I'm unlucky enough to be in this group

As always everyone breath easy and stay well

Night god bless πŸ™ as my dad used to say

X

Congratulations soulboy

That’s good!! Glad it went well! Stay safe!

Great news. I'm glad it went well for you. Hopefully you don't get any unpleasant side effects. My mum gets her vaccine on Thursday, I think it's the Oxford one. Hopefully no darts skills required 😁

Good news glad it went well x

Got my first jab this Friday (cant wait) Sounds daft but looking forward to it they gave me date for 2nd jab while in the phone. .

Twice lucky eh, ( buy a lottery ticket ) , good luck on Friday sc1.

Great News Dave! Yes I had heard the side effects are flu like symptoms so do let us know how you are. I’m hoping to hear as I’ve been told to shield as I’m ECV or CEV whatever - let’s see !!!

Evc or cev, they sound like qualifications kate πŸ˜ƒ , let's hope you hear soon about your date for the vaccine

Well I’ll tell you I didn’t like those qualifications from gov.U.K. Lol but actually it’s now to my advantage because I’m level 4 (another qualification) πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Great to hear your news. Hope no side effects and you keep safe and well

Thanks

Thank you you have made me smile ! 😁 such good news !

Hello I received my vaccination today. I'm curious on how you have been over the last 5 day? So far I feel OK.

I'm sound Dean,i had no problems at all m8

That's great thanks for the info.

To be honest Dean, im feeling better than I have in a while, im sleeping better and breathing better , its probably a placebo effect but im not complaining, glad to hear your doing OK after your jab, I had the Pfizer one by the way

Great news I had the Pfizer jab also. Do you have asthma?

Probably not Dean, i have emphysema and bronchiectas which fall under the umbrella term COPD , I never suffered from asthma or had an attack until my diagnosis of copd in 2005 , youve heard the term "2 out of three aint bad" well not in this instance . Lol

So you definitely know your stuff then. Interesting to say your breathing is better. Long may it last.

I know 5 people who ha the vaccine 5 of them have been tested positive for covid 19 am not scaremongering but a nurse I know got told of a doctor the vaccine gives you covid 19 could be true am just sayin wot I got told b safe

The vaccine doesn't stop you catching covid guy, just helps you overcome it, well that's my understanding

I had my 1st phizer vaccine yesterday, so far only a painful arm. The centre was extremely well organised, strict social distancing and chairs all wiped in booths and waiting areas so felt safe after shielding since March. I had to laugh when you mentioned darts as I said the same to my husband πŸ˜†πŸ’‰

πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Darts!
