Philips Respironics

In these difficult times we have been in Malta unable to return home to the UK, but are very happy with the health service we have received - what I would like to know is that I have been given by the physiotherapy a Philips respironics threshold IMT which I have been told to use for 5 mins twice a day but to ensure that the red line is always on 9. Has anyone else used this? It is meant to help your breathing. I was put on a PR course, but due to the latest virus scare my husband advised me to cancel this as going to the hospital twice a week I would be in contact with others & being already vulnerable having had lung cancer & COPD I cancelled & said I would be happy to come after I had the vaccination. Your comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Haven't tried that. I will be interested in hearing how you find the device. I can think of worse places to be than stranded in Malta, but of course even an island as wonderful as that is not as lovely as home.
