Out of 12 houses in my close , 5 of those houses are receiving visits on a regular basis from friends and family , I am totally disgusted .
I'm assuming others here can also notice neighbours doing the same? .

No, I’m not interested in checking up on what my neighbours are doing. The world’s in a dark place, it doesn’t help to turn on each other. I don’t think it’s healthy.

That is why I and my family are staying in our homes. Unlike us, these people have no idea what it is to struggle for breath.

Luckily, we live in a very small village, and there are just 9 houses in our road; fortunately everyone seems to be following the rules. We live on the edge of the estate of a stately home, part of the park is generally open to the public and can be accessed from our road - the 1st Sunday of lockdown it was like Piccadilly Circus up here (we stayed in lol!). After that, the estate decided to lock all the gates, so it’s now very peaceful.
Only one house I believe. We can’t see many others from our house though so who knows. It’s not right and very selfish. Xxxx

Our street as been very good. From the village Facebook page it would appear that the vast majority of people have also been keeping to the rules. Sadly the village as had a death and in many ways it as brought home the reality of the situation. It is easy to watch TV and hear reports etc and think that is 50 miles away but when it's in the next street it far harder to ignore.
I wouldnt mind but one of the houses has a nurse who works at the local hospital fgs .
It does really annoy me that some people just wont conform. There is a young girl who comes into our road to play with the neighbours kids, who then play for hours in the road and although it seems harmless this is what is passing the virus round. When i asked the lad why he was playing out, he said my Mum says its ok, what can you say. The only thing I can say is if you love your family you just wouldnt do it. I can say that most are staying in x
So many people just don't realise the seriousness of this whole situation? Until those close to them start dying, I doubt if they will!!!!! 😱😩🤒😷👿
Can’t say we have that problem here at all. We live in a close of bungalows which are at least 80% people over 70, and most don’t go out much anyway. The lady opposite does her daily walk, next door 80+ takes his daughter to work in the care home, I hope she is safe, but we are obedient and I can sympathise with you being concerned that your foolish neighbours are being so silly, but as long as you keep clear you should be ok. Yes my neighbours have taken down part of their fence in the back garden to play with kids and neighbours next door and their mother visits for half an hour goes into the house... disgraceful- yet..... they’re out clapping and banging pans at 7.55 pm every Thursday - what the hell!

I opened a bedroom window to look down so they could see me watching them but no - didn’t care ... grh- it’s unfair but I’m trying to mind my own business but I nearly shouted “ clapping for what?” But decided that I don’t like them anyway so why bother.
Funny how people being jerks makes you make a quick decision on liking them or not , lol ,like I said though one of them is a nurse and has been for 20yrs .

There's some extremely selfish people around as there are in our block.
Most people are nice but it's a couple who spoil it for everyone else!

I live on a village green where there is a small children's park. I was in my garden when I noticed a young man with two children about 4 and 5 years old. He approached the park gate and read the notice saying it was closed due to the Virus. He ignored it and went over to the swings.
An older neighbour went over and explained the park was now out of bounds for the forseable future. The younger man responded saying... "we are not doing any harm being here as there are no other people here or nearby." The older man said..".you may well be right, but by actually being here, you are suggesting that the rules don't apply to you only other people."
"Also, don't you think you are setting a bad example to other families as well as your two young children?".
I have to mention I perfectly understand the difficulties of keeping young children amused. However, it's the parents responsibility to explain why rules are put in place and why we should obey them.

In cardiff the police prosecuted someone who had torn down the tape to stop people from using the fitness trail in the local park!
They could have been prosecuted by the police for just having gone to the swings anyway in spite of the fact they are shut at present.
My friend accross the road from me hubby had a stroke. . It is just the 2 of them. But her two grown up kids both live elsewhere but they are coming up to see my friend and hubby. So surprised that she is putting themselves at risk with the kids going in to the house. So wrong. And yes a few other neighbours who I know have health problems are not staying in. I'm stopping well.away

Yes, i know of people who have had family in their garden( who they don’t live with). They think the rules don’t apply to them. ‘I’m alright jack’ comes to mind. I am very much missing my family and giving them all hugs, i see and talk to them on video linking and then cry afterwards at not being able to hug my grandchildren. If everyone stuck to the rules maybe this nightmare will soon go away and we can have normality and peace again.

Check the info we are being fed and bombasted with. This is fear mongering control system from global governments to take away our God given free will and life. Please look closely at what is being broadcasted. Use intelligence to check the reality of the facts and figures, and also the nature of the 'virus' itself. I am 76, disabled, with severe COPD and I won't die from this 'virus' but I will die from lack of care and assistance and starvation because of the lack of help due to isolation. We are shown emotional pictures of people who have died. Some were over 100 years oild???? Nothing to do with the 'virus'. The vaccination will contain goodness knows what and I certainly won't have it. This post may or not be posted. Big brother is probably watching.
Yes and it’s infuriating. I see them and think that’s another few weeks of lockdown all for selfish people. We could all do this, we all miss our families and friends but most of us have sense. The this happens the longer it will be before I get to hold my new grandson and cuddle the others.
Yes. One of my neighbours houses is as busy as a railway station. The wife clatters and bangs about and spends a good part of the day at her front gate holding loud conversations with passers by.
On and off throughout the day her adult daughter comes to the house, enters, we hear loud talking through the wall.
In the evening their adult son visits, brings his dog, we hear his voice in the lounge and the dog yapping.
Both the daughter and son stay for a long while.
The son when challenged said he is his parent's carer. The wife goes to the local shop, husband and wife go to bigger shops by car. The wife noisily does housework and gardening. The son and daughter mostly stay in the lounge making a noise (sometimes sit in the garden shouting, or in the daughters case smoking weed). So what care they are giving is a mystery.
My husband, my carer, saw the wife standing within a couple of feet of no less than 10 different passers by in the time it took him to clean our kitchen sink and its surrounding area.
So much for keeping to the rules.
