Hi ,been feeling a bit down in myself lately breathing getting worse ,all that goes with it ,my husband snapped this photo while I was waiting to go out with him ,I get a bit panicked going out on my own when breathing is bad ,I made myself go to hairdressers this was the result ,just thought I would show of my white hair ,a follow on from my younger days photo headed dark hair white hair ,I dont mean to be flaunting

Beautiful hair so thick too looks lovely.
Mines a real mess at the moment been losing loads for a couple years now
getting thinner and thinner the strands are really thin .
Never recovered after being in hosp 2 yrs ago with pneumonia.
Came home it all frazzled up really dry then started shedding and has never stopped strands getting thinner and thinner and losing loads every day.
Your hair looks wonderful and a lovely colour too 💕X
Aww kitty we all have bad hair days,mine is a mess most of the week ,but when I have it done on a Friday it's good, some years back I started losing a lot of hair ,it was found I had under active thyriod ,it wouldn't harm for you to get yours checked,thank you kitty

I think our rights mostly match yours. To be fair, the Revolutionary War was so that American citizens could have the same rights as British citizens. I am glad you love your country as I do mine, but certainly on the whole we are not so brash xx
I really love the color and it really looks soft and healthy I would’ve thought it was natural if you hadn’t mentioned hair dresser. I wish my hair would go that color but I only have one grey hair says my hairdresser but I make up for it with very wrinkled skin for my age. I’ve had extreme sun exposure and had lots of fun getting them. You’re not an old lady unless YOU say you are. An I’m not sayin👍
The colour is natural sandy ,bit not the style , I have enough wrinkles ,not usually a sun worshiper, just old age ,I wish there was a majic formula, I've never tried anything, as I dont believe they work ,you have the right idea about the old lady bit ,thank you sandy
Maybe your hair is not white because you have benefited from all that sun building up your Vitamin D.

Hi sheila, no I got there own make ,reason being gp pit me on 50,000 iu per week until my level came up ,so I just needed a maintenance dose of 1000 iu per day ,girl in shop looked it up 25ug is equil to1000 iu .yes it is great we can help each other on here

I love pure white hair. I used to have very dark brown hair, but now it’s iron grey, which looks horrible. I wonder if you can have silver white put in at the hairdressers, I think it’s a really flattering colour for older skins
As they say: if you’ve got it flaunt it. Not that I follow my own advice. Much too modest but seriously your hair looks lovely -great colour and cut.

I'll tell you what I did ,my hair was very dark in my younger days ,and as I got greyer and greyer I started to dye it blonde as some years passed I could see my roots were white ,so I let the roots grow about three inches then I had all the blonde cut off ,iwas left with a very short hair style ,it soon grew ,I havent looked back no more roots

I'm sorry you have down days arch ,with me it depends on my breathing when it limits me to do the things I wont to do ,I keep telling myself there are some worse than me ,and to be grateful for the things I can do ,thank you so much for the complement, my photo shows me as the healthiest person I,i wish lol ,hope you are feeling well ,as we all know this illness can sometimes get you downx

Very nice, wish I had thicker hair mine is getting thinner.I'm 58 And happy that I've still got my natural radish hair colour,. Just wish it was thicker on top so it wouldn't hurt so much when I bang my head..
My favourite colour hair of all is red hair any shade of red ,ginger auban love it ,I always think that anyone loosing there hair should have there thyriod checked ,thank you mezz

You look great! I think the best photos are taken 'candid camera style' when the person isn't posing. And I'm so envious of your hair, I have nearly fully white hair ... but it is 'hypothyroid hair' so thin and in poor condition.
Thank you moogle, I know what you mean about thyriod hair ,my mother myself ,sister and daughter all have hypothyriod ,my mother ,sister,daughter suffer with there hair problems ,I've been lucky I had very thick hair to start with ,I lost some before being diagnosed ,that was 30 years ago ,I've been on 125mg of levothyroxine since would you believe, my hair did thicken back up after treatment ,my sister ,daughter hair is better after treatment ,but not the same as it was ,my mother who has passed now her hair was so thin I consider myself lucky,so I know where you are coming from best wishes
Oh Alice, you look lovely. I actually like white hair. And I'm not being funny but it suits you very well. We all have those very down times when we can't seem to catch a break. But it will pass. You take care and just keep putting one foot in front of the other. We will be okay.
