Hi everyone I have copd and the last three days I have had the flu and suffering with chills what is the best thing I can take to help get rid of it, I had my flu injection earlier in the year, if anyone can advise me I would be grateful x

Paracetamol for temperatur and pain lots to drink and bed. Do call gp if you have breathing problems.

I agree, paracetamol and bed, lots to drink and lots of sleep. If it starts to have an effect on your chest and breathing, go to see your gp. Get well soon 😊

I got hold of Devon doctors they called in to see me and gave me some antibiotics thank you for your advice x

I order the Sambucus Elderberry Syrup from Amazon. It works as a preventative and also acutely to help with a variety of illnesses. It is promoted to have anti-viral properties. I take this as a preventative, along with Vitamin D....I believe they help ward off many ailments. I have been well of congestion for a very long time. I hope this helps.
