When the conversation turns

To things that make us frown,

I switch off my hearing aids

And Midge's ear goes down.

Midge looks like a very intelligent dog . My lovely , kind daughter Sarah , when she was younger, used to turn her hearing aids off so she couldn’t hear me telling her off . Now she is the mother of two teenagers she still finds it useful at times😊

Midge is quite smart, she has learnt which birds to chase off the feeder just outside the patio doors. Big birds were easy but chasing starlings but not blackbirds took a little time. Small birds fascinate her and she sits watching them for hours.

Multi tasking Midge - half listening, half not😄

Haha..A good story Don. I remember my father-in-law, who wore an hearing aid, had selective hearing, he couldn’t hear my mother-in-law but he could hear the cricket and Bea!!

Late husband Bob was the same - he switched off to any requests for help but heard every word when I mentioned money.

What a beautiful expressive face Midge has. She looks to be saying " Could you repeat the question please ? " Sheila x
