White hair...

Brushing my hair today and I found a white hair! Okay a found a few white roots! My mum is 62 and only has a few white strands. I’ve only just turned 36!

I’m blaming the stress of this year... the stay in hospital before finally getting diagnosed with bronch, snapping my big toe (and the fallout), work and deciding to take exams.

Thankfully it’s fashionable lol.

Always look on the bright side 😊

I'm 40 and have too many than I'd like so I dye my hair every month now! Yes I blame the stress too

I usually dye my hair every few months so that it has a bit of red in, might have to do it more often lol x

Oh dear old age beckons :) I was quite proud of having no grey hair in my late 30's and was boasting about it to a friend while she was driving along. She argued that I did and eventually stopped the car and promptly pulled one stone grey hair out of my head.

My language isn't repeatable here.... x

They way I see it is that the dye will work better in my white hair than my dark brown hair lol x

Well I have found that dyeing my hair with some grey in it looks like I have paid for highlights which I guess is a plus! x

I used to do that when I was 21 by the time I was 30 gave up as was snow white and have been for the last 40 years. God made me this way. Have so many problems but still enjoy life. Happy Christmas to you all.

I started going grey at 21,I'm now 57.I'm also going bald 😁.

I had my first white hairs at 18 when doing A levels. At 30 I had a big patch of white on fringe and surrounding area plus white hairs dotted around. Now at 61, my hair is nearly completely white.

I'm 62 and I've got a grey bunch of grey on one side, nothing anywhere else, it looks like I've painted it on lol. Still it looks like I have my very own fashion going on lol. ✋️😊

I’d rather go completely white than the odd hair, my hair is so dark they stand out x

Hello Lealee .

That made me laugh. 😃 I think stress does do it. I'm going on 44 and have a few myself. I think they can be a beautiful thing. To be honest if I live to have a full head of them I would consider myself rather lucky.

Have a good holiday season. 🎄😃

You put it all into perspective Cas. I hope you live to go completely grey :) x

That’s very true. Life is very short and I hope I’m lucky enough to be here and completely white 😊 the car accident that caused my bronch could have killed me so I am very thankful for the dodgy lungs 😊 x no matter how bad we feel it is, it could always be worse x

I defo blame the stress. I took for granted that because my mum has thick dark hair at 62 I would too. If I go white I’m 100% dying it blue!! I wanted to as a teen but my hair was so dark it didn’t show. So I guess every cloud has a silver lining 😆

Can a woman be silver fox? I’ve seen young girls with grey hair and they can pull it off lol

Have a great Christmas

I found some grey hairs, and decided to dye them one day. Used food dye to see if I liked the colour before having tints. Tried green, purple, orange and yellow - all at the same time. Good job I did not go out, as later had shower and all colours ran! so now proud of my "wings" over the ears and the odd grey hair of knowledge rather than stress. cheers all.

I was pure white hair at 60.

Now for some strange reason I can`t fathom.. I am going black haired mixed through the white hair,, Does that mean I am not a thorough bread anymore but more of a mungral?

Or am I just BARKING MAD!!!

Beets me, I don't know about your hair tomc lol, but it dose sound like another trip to doctors to see if you've gone colour blind, do you really need the stress of it all? Lol. ✋️😊

I was often sick as a child and my Grandmother told me she was pulling white hairs from my head at the age of 2. :) Now I'm in my mid fifties and have a beautiful white streak in my hair while most of the rest is still dark.

My hair has suddenly turned white. It feels like it happened overnight but it probably wasn't, but it was quite sudden and rapid. I'm 42. Maybe it is the stress. I dyed my hair blue about 20 years ago I think I should do it again now and it would actually show up properly.
