It is with a broken heart that I come here to let those of you who knew Scrobs that on Monday this week she passed away at home, she had her beloved boy Ben with her & her friend Claire & it was all very peaceful.
Claire kindly let me know today & I'm sure you will join with me in raising a glass of somthing potent to wish her a speedy flight to Spain where our Tina (Dozy/Always) is waiting for her.
There is so much I want to tell you about her but I can hadrly see the screen for tears
so I'm just going to end with a God bless to her & all those who knew her

Hard to believe it’s only a couple of weeks since scrobbity told us the sad news about Dozy. She hadn’t been on much recently but sticks in my mind as a hilariously funny lady with a dry wit & “laugh in the face of adversity” attitude. What a sad time of year this is 😔I will certainly raise a glass of something to her memory
Oh how awful and I am so sorry scrobs has gone. She was always so positive and determined to live her life. I really hope she meets Tina on the other side and they are sipping cocktails on a Spanish beach.

I, too would love to go back to Beautiful Spain (my ashes will), where I lived for 28 Years and where My Spanish Grandchildren were Born. Hasta Luego Amiga de gente en El Forum aqui. I didn't know Scrobbity here but even in her post about Dozy's flitting off to Spain, she so impressed me with her empathy, compassion and great sense of humour. And now she's joined her friend ? I wish both of them an eternal beach party with handsome waiters, plentiful supply of cocktails, sun sand and sangria.

Thanks for letting us know Silly witch, even though it's news I don't want to hear. Were losing to many good people recently, I'm hating lung disease more and more.
As a good friend of Dozy's, Srobbity is sure to be on her way to that Spanish beach where the pair of them will cause mayhem and chaos for sure. 'Long live mayhem and chaos'
Thank you everyone, for your kind words & condolences, I was blessed with Lesley & Tina,s friendship for the last 4/5 years, many many laughs were had, & quite a few tears too as we lost more & more of the folk we knew here.
Although the phone calls got shorter & fewer between, due to a lack of breath on all our parts, laughter was still the best medicine we could offer each other (it,s a great way to shift the phlem!!)
I can only hope that their souls are now breathing easy & are soaring high & free.
I will miss them every day

Scrobs will be sadly missed - I feel she and Dozy and all our lost ones are free of the shackles and are reunited. My condolences to her family and thank you for letting us know.
