I have a problem walking around my house using a hi liter Concentrator. I have to use a higher liter flow, 10 liters but it doesn't seem to have near the O2 pressure that my oxygen tanks produce. I set the O2 tanks at 8 liters and can walk much farther without problems. It also seems there is more 02 pressure from the tanks. I use a 50 ft hose (recently replaced) connected to my home hi volume 02 Concentrator. A serviceman from my Concentrator supplier came out and said nothing was wrong. Any ideas?

I've no experience with the bigger O2 cylinders but as far as being able to walk further with the cylinders I wonder if it is partly due to oxygen purity. Concentrators often produce only 87-95% purity while pre-filled cylinders are probably 99% purity so you might be getting approx 10% more O2 from the cylinder.
Worth mentioning this to your O2 assessment team if you have one.
Salmo's comment is useful to me too, as I had been thinking the same as you, pianoman. Another thought: I have a concentrator at 4L/min when walking around, and I have been told by the oxygen engineer that 30 feet oxygen hose is the longest that should be used.
