Hello out there...I'd like to buy a portable Oxygen Concentrator. Must be airline approved and I'd like to take it camping in the UK.
Can anyone advise me of the best suitable?
Thanks everyone. Vivienne.

Hi
A suitable unit would depend on your oxygen requirements in lpm, whether a portable unit is suitable being pulse dose only.
Some portable units are available through your oxygen provider.
Second hand unit may be available at,
healthunlocked.com/blf/post...
New units are available from,
intermedicaldirect.co.uk/pr...
Subject to requirements, always test before you buy for suitability.
Greetings
I'm assuming that you have emphysema or some other progressive lung disease. My best and considered advice would be to get the best that you can afford and which supplies more than you need. I bought one which gave what oxygen I needed, then had to buy another when my prescription changed.
I now use a SeQual Equinox -- it supplies 3litres free flow and up to 5 litres on pulse. It's airline approved and runs on batteries too. You can buy spares. The only problem is that it's horribly expensive...
Cheers

Hi Ranv56,
You will need to charge the battery of the portable concentrater. You can take your ambulatory oxygen that you have delivered camping in the UK.
All the best with your purchase of a portable concentrater.
