Smell n tape

My loss of smell n appetite has been a blessing in a way. I lost 50 lbs in the past year which helps with having less knee pain. I need a knee replacemnt but doctor wont operate due to copd. Whats worse is when my hiatal hernia pops the pain is off the chart . my G.I. doctor wont operate cause he is afraid i wont wake up. So i feel like i am dealing with so much at one time. The only surgery i able to schedule is my cataract surgery. So loss of smell n appetite helps me maintain my current weight.when i mention tape i am referring to the face grippers. Its a good thing i getcup alot during the night . cause twice i noticed my tubes not in . so i use the grippers to hold tje tubes onto my face. They are very strong

Hi Pinky, nice photo. It’s so difficult when you have COPD to be operated on. Hiatus hernias are very uncomfortable and l feel for you.

My husband has sarcoidosis and COPD but is not on oxygen. He had his back stimulator fitted under local anaesthetic but it wasn’t pleasant.

Hi, Pinky. Great to meet you. Yes, it's so difficult to manage other conditions when you have COPD. I notice you use my trick to help the dodgy knee - tight jeans that act like a massive splint and take some of the pressure off the joint. All the best, M.

Hi Pinky - well done for the weight loss. I had a total knee replacement a year ago. A spinal block was used due to my COPD, so don't know why your consultant saying yours cannot be done(?)
