Hi

I use a Imogen one G3 on pulse dose 4lpm I use it outside in all weathers the case is waterproof.

A cylinder on 4 LPM continuous will last 1hr 47 min

On pulse with conserver 5 hours.

For dressing and washing workout a suitable method, one item rest etc.

Also I use blow and go breathing technique.

Stop to inhale, go or perform any task or part of on the exhale.

It's all pacing your self and keeping calm.

Prepare all you clothes before hand, basically set your stall out then just take your time, plenty of rest periods to control your breathing.

The only difference between continuous and pulse is, is it suitable for you needs. Not every one can use a pulse system. You can under or over breath which stops the device from working correctly, although it will detect and send a pulse dose until you recover.

Continuous system will work irrespective of breathing pattern including the odd mouth breathing.

If you tell the Respiratory technician who you see at your local hospital about your plans for a holiday they would arrange for you to have the correct portable Concentrator that would suit your needs, provided you are going on holiday in the UK.

Hope this is of some help to you.
