Feeling rough but found a smile.

Yes even smiles have a rough night like every one else, so had to kick myself into gear this morning but will get there a bit later. I will be back down to Kate's this morning at 0800 for the workmen but problem has cropped up it seems the water has affected the flooring in the bungalow bathroom, so others are coming at midday to decided whats what, oh happy days.

I went to a "Seafood Disco" last night....... and pulled a mussel.

A friend drowned in a bowl of muesli. He was pulled in by a strong currant.

Two cows standing next to each other in a field. Daisy said to Dolly "I was artificially inseminated this morning." "I don't believe you"said Dolly. "Its true straight up no bull."

Lastly a man walks into a bar with a roll of tarmac under his are and says "Pint please and one for the road."

I walked along to the paper shop this morning only to find it had blown away.

Keep happy and safe, the sky is dark and it looks like rain. xxxFred :) ;)

Thanks for that I wondered where you got to, thought you might be stuck in down below decks or locked in your cabin again. I promise I will pull myself up dust myself down and start all over again, I just might turn that into a song, or has someone beat me to it ? xxx Fred :)

Thank you for a welcome chuckle to start my day. So sorry to hear you didn't have a good night but today is another day and you know you have so much support here. Hope the new problem with the water at the bungalow gets sorted soon.

Take lots of care.

Hi Fred, woke up this morning and felt good until I sat up, coughed up enough gunk to sink your yellow submarine. Anyway still feeling good but wondering where all this gunk came from as it was more than usual. Hopefully its just down to the extra walking and exercise I've done recently and my chest is clearing out ready for me to run a marathon. The thing is breathing is good and I'm feeling quite spritely so no worries eh'.

Loved yer 1 liners as usual, hope your feeling better and those workmen get Kate's floor sorted without to much trouble.

There's grey sky's here in Malvern but its Wednesday and that means its down the pub day with some friends for a pub lunch so I'm smiling from ear to ear. :)

Morning Fred me old chucker! Love the jokes as usual. They always put a smile on my face and that's not so easy these days! I have set myself the aim of being on first in the morning for once!

Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink :) Hope it all gets sorted soon. Have a good day Fred xx

HI Fred

sorry to hear you had a bad night. Hope the day goes well for you. I will never hear "the paper shop"again without a smile, people will think Im round the bend! there might be a joke there somewhere.

My son, who lives two doors away, is up to his neck in renovations etc. Just as the new kitchen extension is almost finished hes discovered dampness coming through the bathroom wall into the lounge. Its a tiled wall, but the shower is constantly in use and apparently some sort of sealant should go on before the tiles. No wonder we never decorate these days, just keeping things clean and tidy is quite enough.

doctors can be frustrating. You wait a month and a half for an appointment and he says "I wish you had come to me sooner."

Iris what you have written above is the sort of thing my daughter is going through but she and Granddaughter have to move out and they are in a bungalow with only one loo so insurance putting then into a hotel for the repair period, and this will take place as from tomorrow so hardly time to pack any clothes. xxx Fred :)

Lol....bless your heart for finding a smile today Fred. It's harder when you're tired. I hope you have a good day at Kates and that there's not too much damage. I also hope she has insurance.

Supposed to be tipping down and windy this morning...but so far...nothing. lol

Hi there Lyn what a day the damage is worse than expected and they will have to move into a hotel for 2 to 3 weeks but she has good insurance and is well covered, but the work will start tomorrow so we are having to work together to get things ready for them to move and there is the dog to go to kennels, it never rains but it pours. Hope you are keeping warm with your hotty.

Stay smiling my lovely giggler xxx :) Fred

Oh noooooooo, that's just so inconvenient Fred. Bless her, I bet she's really cheesed off. What a shame and the poor dog too....sigh. I'm so glad she has a good insurance, lets hope it will be put right soon and Kate will be back home. :-) xxx

Hi Fred. Yours is the first post I look for if I log on in the morning. And sure enough it always gets me going! So thank you for the chuckles again today.

Hopefully there are no more surprises for you at your daughter's today. After a rough night I'm sure you'd infinitely prefer to be at home.

Beautifully sunny here if a little chilly. I'd send you a few rays if I could.

Sara talk about surprises they can and looked at Kate's bathroom and they say its unsafe and its not to be used as the floor is unsafe, she is well covered but the amount of work means they will have to move out for 2 to 3 weeks into a hotel and the poor Lab Bella will have to be boarded out as we can not have her, this all has to take place by tomorrow morning. Oh happy days I would love Kate and Hannah to be able to stay here but we just do not have the room any more. Just to add to it rain has arrived. xxx Fred :)

Oh dear, think I'm going to have to get some sun rays over to you Fred. We always feel so responsible for our children, no matter what, and they get so used to accepting it that we feel guilty when we can't come up trumps every time.

Do we ever think of no. 1 when our children are involved?

Hope all goes well for your daughter & g/daughter and they get moved back home soon. Hope you have a good night Fred.
