The last time I had a DVT I was in hospital for about ten days and came out with a zimmer frame. The medics did try to fix me up with crutches but I kept falling flat on my face!!!!! I just couldn't cope with the crutches.

So, a zimmer frame it had to be. In the end I was quite adept with my zimmer but I didn't have it long enough to 'customize' it.

I also came out of hospital with one, but managed to regain the strength in my legs. I still keep walking as much as I can, have to put my feet up afterwards. lol This is where Scrabble comes in handy.

Wow! I want the Harley! There used to be a chap around here years ago who had all sorts of stickers on his mobility vehicle "scream if you want to go faster", all sorts of pennants and go faster stripes and flags fluttering. Brought a smile to everyone's face and,most of all, to his.

You really don't want a Harley! I have bad memories of Harleys. My brother was in the USA for a while and when he came back to the UK he had his Harley shipped over. One day, he overtook a bus (nothing ahead). At a junction, a car came out in front of the bus (going the opposite way to the bus and my brother). Goodness knows what happened but my brother ended up in hospital with all sorts of broken bones etc.

The Harley was written off, the bus was severely dented and the car was almost OK!!!!

You really want a Ducati - lovely bikes.
