Hi,I'm based in Chorley a town in Lancashire, have you got a photo of yourself please

there will be support groups wherever in England you are located. In my area they are run by the county council and charities.

Seek advice from the Social Prescriber employed by your doctor’s group of surgeries.

What’s a Social Prescriber?

Thanksnhs A social prescriber connects patients with non medical services like advice services for housing, finances, etc. Can also connect you with support groups for people with your condition. They create a treatment plan with you based on what non medical things you find important.

You should find details on your doctor’s practice website.

This probably isn't the best place to find social contact.Have you got a heart related condition so you are hoping to make friends with other people whom can act like a Buddy and understand what you have?

You best bet is find out about your nearest BHF face to face support group , or another heart health related group in your area.

You could go along then and meet people whom you could connect with as friends outside the meetings themselves.

A lot of people find health buddies via the local groups whom they can connect with to have more confidence to travel and do activities together.

The BHF website should have a list of useful contact numbers for support groups in your area, or if you can't find that you can email their customer support whom should be able to send you the right contact information.

Not what you're looking for?
