I was just sat at the table after lunch today and got a big squeeze on the upper right side of my chest (if you were facing me) and had dizziness as well. Check BP and it was up to 135/76 (which is high for me) however after that 'event' everything is back to normal and BP is back to where it should be. So I have Angina and PAD and I just wondered if it is possible that something just passed through my heart. Is that possible?
TIA

Definitely worth ringing the GP or hospital and asking for some advice about it.What did you have for lunch?
Could it have actually been indigestion or trapped wind , we shouldn't just assume it when we have heart issues but it is also possible and can cause a BP skip.
Possibly a Cardiac spasm. I had a severe one last year and was hospitalised as sometimes they can go on to a heart attack. I was advised to ring 999 if it happens again. I am glad to say that to date it has been ok
In my case my BP crashed putting my heart into shock resulting in the cardiac spasm which lasted a good 45 min. It eased after GTN and 300mg of aspirin administered by the ambulance crew. The only after effects was my pulse dropped very low a number of times during my hospital stay; BP was all over the place.
if it was me I would go and get checked out. It may be a lucky warning so best not to ignore it. If you think of it this way, if you get it checked and all is ok then all you will have lost is a bit of time, but if you ignore it and it’s not ok you could lose a lot more. Good luck x
Get it checked out immediately, I had similar and ignored it, one week later I had a massive HA and arrested 4 times. Cardiologist explained that the 'warning' the week before was a piece of plaque breaking off and momentarily blocking an artery.
