I was so cross with myself that I got to Germany with all of my medication but had forgotten to pack Clopidogrel. Having had a nasty fall a few days before I was a bit worried about myself too! After speaking to the local pharmacist I was able to see a lovely doctor within ten minutes and had a prescription and the meds. Well done Germany.

That's good news. This morning I had an online consultation with a haematologist in Poland (for all of £60), which I've been denied for much of this year with the NHS. This was arranged by a friend who'd returned to Poland after Lockdown had been eased because she thought that she would get better treatment for her autistic son. An Ukrainian friend returned home briefly and despite the situation there had tests (with immediate results) for a small amount. All this makes me wonder about the NHS model now and what can be done to improve it.
