So these were more frequent until they changed my settings and they stopped which was wonderful- but had a couple here n’ there recently. I guess some are normal right ? I find it triggers me to worry as it’s how I was diagnosed in the first place.. (or misdiagnosed as anaemic first)!
I’ve just sent a download to the pacing clinic in hope that they would say it’s just a low battery thing as it’s due a change soon, but they said ‘oh no it’s not going to be a battery problem’… so now I’m thinking it’s my heart deteriorating or I need another tweak?(because catastrophisation is my thing)
Interested to know other’s experiences with these symptoms- is this just part of having a pacemaker!?

I've been having this recently and like yourself my heart troubles were picked up after a dizzy collapse. I have a remote download due soon, yearly one, so hoping to speak to someone about this then.
Following as it'll be interesting to see how many of us are still having this issue.
Thank you for your message- I did a download this morning at request and they said it all looks normal so nothing alarming.
We chatted about a virus I had in Jan that wiped me out for months, like long Covid I think, .. never been that tired before or for so long and they think it might be linked to that still.. odd dizzy spells and breathless.Thankfully those symptoms have all but mostly disappeared. I think that’s also why I hate it when it happens, as we all do, as we think it could be something else
Oh it’s fun isn’t it !
Still I’m very relieved it’s not a reprogram or other concerning issue to them at least.
I have had my biventricular pacer for 10 weeks now, spent most of my days in bed before and remain the same. An effort to get up and move around an hour or woman’s need to lay down again as light headed get breathless and ongoing pain (they suspect it to be water retention) starts up.
I get them, I thought it was caused by low blood pressure but I’m told my device is showing a lot of non sustained ventricular tachycardias (NSVT). Your device clinic should see if you are getting anything to worry about, and they will inform you. I also know I get dizzy when my blood pressure is too low.
I think that should not happen. Is your cardiac pacemaker a demand pacemaker or a fixed rate pacemaker. Have you counted your pulse at rest and after exercise? That should change. When was your last pacemaker check at heart clinic? If it's more than 6 months, you should ring them up for an appointment. However there may be other cause for the fainting attacks. The appropriate step is to make an appointment to see your G.P.
