I have had previous heart attacks and now have 5 stents. I am now diagnosed with unstable angina and have had recent angina attacks I would like to know if others who have experienced unstable angina and what treatment they have received.
Many thanks

I can.t help but can empathise with you.I had a heart'event' exactly 3 years ago and a stent was fitted . I have on going chest tighness and mild breathlessness , usuallyat rest. Privately the interventionist cardiologist tells me it was unsatable angina and Willens syndrome and that unstable angina is possibly what I am experiencing now. This was 3 months ago. 2 weeks ago I had and echocardiogram and 24 hour monitor. No results yet but echo seems ok. Still awaiting an appointment for a myocardial profusion test. Like you I am in limbo. No one seems concerned but I am anxious, Will the angina become serious? The GNT spay doesn't help. I am taking baby asprin and statins. How was your unstable angina detected?
I many thanks for your message my unstable angina was detected as I was still getting pains following my last stent I have a consultation appointment on the 23rd to discuss unstable angina I may raise the question should I be referred to a specialist in the subject I will let you know following my appointment kind regards
