If you can, see a London cardiologist - may have greater expertise. Check out the consultant who gave me six stents and saved me - Dr Suk Nijjer. imperial.nhs.uk/consultant-...
Best is to go private if possible. Means researching the cardiologists at the main London hospitals, selecting one and being prepared to pay for an initial consultation, tests. and a follow-up consultation.
I’ve had a look at one or two . I suffer from scar tissue build up on where the new arteries are attached and this will eventually become so thick that blood can’t get through . 1 in 4 suffer from this . Will def follow London route
hello I have had a stent 2019 after a heart attack and then a further heart attack 2023 another stent. First stent was due to 95% blockage and second one was 80% blockage.
The first stent I found was pain free and I received it as an out patient. The second one I was already in hospital I found this one to be really painful and I had pain in my chest. Once the stent was fitted I was fine. Very tired when I returned home.
A year and a half later I am ok. I took time off work and now I am back to my teaching job.
I was a ex semi alcoholic , I didn’t help myself at first , change your way of thinking, yes it’s hard staying in a positive frame of mind , keep yourself busy, but most of all listen to your body , get a food tolerance test done , this will help with some of the angina symptoms then will find out what foods disagree with you, I now use soya milk , and oatmeal bread for example so it doesn’t bloat. you, then the acid reflux doesn’t build up so much
