Hi. I have vasospastic angina and I'm wondering if there could be a connection to what's happening to me at the moment.
About 3 weeks ago I started having crushing headaches and became very 'woozy', tingling sensations in my head the left side of my jaw, arm and neck. I'm also getting a weird (can't describe) feeling in the vein on the left side of my neck.
My instant memory has gone out of the window. Balance is off. I'm very shakey and feel a bit disoriented. The symptoms change daily in severity but today is the worst it's been.
I do suffer from migraine but I've never experienced anything like this. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
I do have an appointment with my GP tomorrow.
Thanks😊

I experience neurological symptoms with my coronary vasospasms.
I become very sensitive to light and sound, I have an icepick headache, pain behind my left eye and numbness in my left face, neck shoulder, left arm and fingers.
My brain feels as though it's full of cotton wool and I have difficulty reading and concentrating.
My GP refered me to a Neurologist. I had a MRI on my head and upper spine.
I am treated with botox injections which help. If you have vasospastic angina many of the other treatments for migraines like beta blockers and triptans are contraindicated.
Perhaps ask your GP to refer you to a Neurologist?
My Neurologist took a detailed history, sent me for tests to rule out any other possible causes of my symptoms.I had nerve tests on my arm as well as the MRI on my head and upper spine.
His conclusion was that I have vasospasms in the blood vessels in my brain.
I usually have my neurological and coronary vasospasms at the sametime.
I have to keep a headache diary which is useful to see how often I have my symptoms.
