Today we were going to go for a walk with our family but halfway through I began to feel really unwell and needed to sit down. On returning home my heart rate was still over 100 even when resting but my blood pressure was ok. Also my spo2 was considered low. Any tips on self help?

I think you may be posting on an incorrect site.
This part of Health Unlocked is for people who have suffered from, or with family who have suffered from, heart troubles. We can offer support and possibly a little guidance but cannot offer any kind of diagnosis.
If you are troubled about your health then a health professional should be consulted. Perhaps phone 111.
You mention your heart rate stayed at 100 ‘even when resting’, and your oxygen saturation was ‘considered low’.
You could call the BHF Heart Helpline team on 0300 330 3311 Mon-Fri 9-5pm or email hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk. They are knowledgable and very helpful.
Hi Rainy - first of all, a very big welcome to the site. You'll find lots of kind and knowledgeable people here who will be only too happy to offer support and guidance.
If this is the first time that this has happened to you, and you've had no previous episodes like this, I think the first thing you should do is to contact your GP and arrange an appointment to discuss what has happened. They will arrange tests for you, most likely to be blood tests and an ECG to ensure that nothing untoward is at fault. There are lots of things that can cause an elevated heart rate, blood pressure issues etc. but it's always best to be checked out properly. Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is to offer support and advice, but we're not qualified to give medical help.
Please contact your GP and, in the meantime, don't hesitate to contact or visit A&E should your condition worsen or you become more concerned. @Kristen1812 has also provided the contact details for the BHF Heart Helpline in her post above who will also be able to advise you. If you have time, please come back to let us know how you get on. Sending every best wish. Carol
Well done for taking this seriously and reaching out on here.
It does sound wrong that on resting your heart rate didnt recover.
Do make a GP appt as soon as you can to get this checked but don't hesitate to call an ambulance or go to A&E if it happens again or worsens in any way.
Nurses on here are v helpful so do ring them too as mentioned above.
Sorry, am I right to assume that you have had treatements e.g stents or not? If not goto GP/hospital immediately!!!
Anyway, after my stents, I had many instances like that! You did the right thing to sit down, in worser case you could use your GTN spray. I would plan my walks with quickest return route, but initially always walking with family member.
