Appointment urgency

When I was in hospital recently being treated for a blood disorder, I contracted MRSA. I was treated with a course of antibiotics. When I was discharged I was told I had been referred to Cardiology because my heart valves are likely to have been damaged during treatment .

My discharge letter said the appointment would be made with some urgency.

I received a letter from the cardiology dept. telling me I had been added to a waiting list , should I be concerned?

Hello :-)

This seems to be the procedure now but if you are concerned then phone the number on the letter and ask them also you can let them know that you would like to go on their cancellation list as well

Let us know how you get on :-) x
