tiredness after Heart Attack

Hi All, apologies for not being on for some time, I use to use my I-Pad to communicate with but like me it got old and tired, had to wait for a new pc to communicate.

reason for this message is ( tiredness ) although it has been many years from my Heart Attack I still get very tired and have a severe lack of energy, I have followed all the recommendation with exercise, eating healthily, taken all my meds (10) a day , yet with all of that I am in bed by 10pm sleep until 4/5am and then sleeping again 9am ish could be an hour or less, same scenario in the afternoon.

do any other members suffer from constant lack of get up and go, I don't know if it is the meds keeping me stable or low blood pressure, had that checked twice this year already, also a very slow pulse 45bpm got know idea if thats good or bad. any advice welcome.

it takes time to get back to ‘normal’ and that isn’t the life we had before. I appreciate you are far further along the post HA journey than I am.

I definitely get tired more easily and that’s not helped by being on Bisoprolol which is intended to slow one down and reduce the load on the heart. I’ll sleep from about 11pm to 7am with a handful of waking minutes during the night. I can end up napping for a half hour in the afternoon at times. My normal resting heart rate is in the low 50’s now. Mind you I can push it really high by exercising …

I’m on two blood pressure tablets, two cholesterol tablets, an antacid and one heart tablet, a total of 7 if I also include the daily aspirin (hence the antacid). That’s a year post HA and surgery.
