I was wondering if anybody else wakes up with aches all over their body. I wake up every morning feeling like I've laid a patio the previous day. I'm 67 and had a triple hbp in March last year. Getting fitter slowly but surely, it's just the aches that eventually subside after being up for 2 hours or so.

Statins? I feel very achey and stiff first thing in the morning.
Did a 2 hour walk yesterday with a heavy back pack and I felt like my legs were made of lead in addition to the statin aches I get.

I think it's something we're stuck with. I've reduced mine as much as I can. Things are a lot better but still uncomfortable.

True, I've taken the position to put up with the aches and stiffness rather then have another heart attack, not a great choice but the sensible one.
Yup I hear ya. I got the doc to reduce my statin dose, so far it's made a huge difference
