Today I found in my records that in 2022 they found I have valve regurgitation and nocturnal bradycardia.

So I finally gained access to my records. They blocked my access. I had to call the police. It shows I have mitral, tricuspid and pulmonic regurgitation. I also had 18 episodes of nocturnal bradycardia in 7 days. This information was withheld, not further evaluated or monitored. This was found in 2022. My heart displacement into the left hemithorax was found Jan 2024. The nhs cover up culture is so dangerous. I fear how many they have already taken to soon and how many more. Looks like I could be a fatal cover up culture case soon. I tried so hard to save my self. I fought for 5 years in August for answers. I have them now but my access to healthcare is being blocked. How can my heart be in my left hemithorax with 3 heart valves showing regurgitation and they won't help me ? It's beyond cruel.

interesting post: you only have to look back over the last three years to answer your question. You need to off load without people knocking you for knocking the glorious NHS

Hi, that's awful we have a right to know if we ask. Sounds like an enlarged heart as it endeavours to cope, not displaced. Are you able to see anyone privately? Take Care.

There is nothing glorious about the failing NHS. More so if one is older than 65 and has multi comorbidities. How shocking this cover up culture is!

This sounds awful.

Why can’t they take the valves out and replace it with a new one?

I have recently had open heart surgery for a valve replacement and now recovering.

Hi I have had a heart transplant and I have regurgitation in one of my valves, it is mild and they are not concerned about it at all, maybe if they could confirm if it's serious or not it would put your mind at rest. Take care char

I understand your pain. 30 years ago my mother in law died in hospital due to an avoidable c@ck up by a Doctor. The incident was investigated by the police for Manslaughter, However vital evidence such as pages from the records and nurses desk journal had been tourn out and disappeared. As a result, no charges were brought against the doctor but the coroner registered an open verdict on the death certificate. So my experience is yes, there is absolutely a culture of "cover up". I had hoped things would have changed by now but not according to your experience.

Sorry you find yourself in such a dreadful situation. Indeed there is a cover up culture in the NHS. It has always been the case but much more for the past few years. I hope you can find help somehow. Could you insist to being referred to a cardiologist for a second opinion or if you can afford it go for a private consultation so your health condition can be assessed accurately. You could be put back into the NHS system again… although not great. Good luck. Appalling really. Many of my medical notes have gone missing too, I discovered a few years ago.
