It's my turn now....

I've been on the waiting list since November '23 and now this afternoon I am being admitted to hospital for a CABG x5 tomorrow (12th April) - hopefully no last minute cancellation.

Had a heart attack and stents back in 2019 and was blue lighted into hospital so no time to think about what was happening..... this time it's different and I've had 5 months to read all about what's going to happen to me 😟

Increasing breathlessness, lack of stamina and swollen ankles at the end of the day prompted me to get things looked at early '23 and hopefully things will start to improve after tomorrow.......

I will hopefully post an update next week on my progress.

Very best of luck, thinking of you. Look forward to your update on the other side. The worst part is waiting, soon be waking up in ICU and then sitting out in your chair.❤️

Thank you - I hope your husband is still on the road to recovery.

He is, slowly, but he's totally the exception. You'll be going home by next weekend x

Fingers crossed the planets align and your surgery all goes ahead tomorrow as planned. The waiting is so difficult and such an anxious time. But, in a few months time - when you can walk up a hill without feeling like you’re about to expire half way to the top - it’ll all have been worth it. This is your mountain tomorrow. Wishing you all the very best. ❤️‍🩹
