SVT & Af picked up on Kardia

I’ve been diagnosed with SVT just after Xmas and basically waiting to have a catheter abalation. . I regularly use the mobile device kardua whenever I feel the heart acting up and it managed to pick up a svt ectopic beat and 5 min later a Af which hasn’t been diagnosed . Has anyone else been diagnosed with SVT and then consequently a AF ? Thank you

My diagnosis was the other way around. Started with Afib and then a couple of years later started with SVT too. I also have many many ectopic beats both PACS and PVCs.

One often triggers the other and its very common for me to start with many ectopics which can often flip me into Afib and SVT alternating between one and the other. They are both miserable and scary conditions and hard to cope with. My higest SVT heart rate was 298 beats per minute which was horrendous.
