Concentric LVH

Just been diagnosed with LVH. Having an MRI scan to assist in finding out how this started and hopefully treatment plans going forwards. It would be appreciated to find out similar case studies, as I would like to know more about the condition as well as understanding the pysological impact.

what does LVH stand for is it left ventricular heart failure not sure?

Acronyms can be confusing so it's helpful if you use the full name the first time you mention a condition🙂

i'm guessing that you might mean Left Ventricular Hypertrophy and that this has been recognised and concentric - this refers the to the pattern of muscle thickenning in this type of hypertrophy (heart wall thickening) - i am sure othermembers will tell you about it from their own experience

Thank you, great feedback really appreciated. Its all about understanding things because one minute you feel invinsible, the next you have self doubt when diagnosed with heart disease.

The feedback on here is invaluable because I can see I won't be the only one trying to get my head round things.

Thanks everyone, it's my first post and already I feel better. Family have been brilliant but this site is great as its another avenue to off load
