hi I’ve been taking atorvastatin for several years now I’m 71 in female. I believe I’ve been as high as 80 mg as you aren’t you were on and only recently had it reduced to 40 as my cholesterol is not very high now it seems to be under control I have never had any issues with getting up during the night to urinate with this medication. I think you should definitely go see your doctor as it looks as if you are 66 and male. You could possibly have a urinary tract infection or prostate problem that a doctor may need to check out. So no I don’t think it’s the atorvastatin. I don’t know. maybe somebody else will chime in here with a very different opinion. But I don’t think it ever hurts to go to see your doctor and have them check everything out. Have a good night or day I am in California, so I don’t know if it’s day or night where you are.
