I have just started taking 2 x1mg in the morning. Lots of trips to the loo and some cramps in my hands.
It has been prescribed to help breathlessness related to heart failure. Would like to know other people’s experience and if it would be better to take later in the day. My blood pressure is a bit low also so perhaps I need a lower dose.

I'm also on 2×1mg of Bumetanide I take it first thing and live in toilet for 2 hour's but if I got to go out I'll take it later in the day. No side effects and I use this to rid my body of excess fluid due to lymphodema but after 2 years on them a gp said he might stop them in the future. Don't take them if got to go straight out. All the best 👍
I was on buminatide and spirolactone together so Im not sure what the side effects were for buminatide I think I was on 5mg of that and 25mg for the other one. I didn't actually have to go to the toilet alot I remember having to take it in the morning with food so it wasn't great for me cause I'm not a morning person 😂. I took later in the day once and I literally couldn't sleep I was wide awake till bout 5 in the morning 😳. I mean everyone is different so see if you notice a difference with blood pressure taking it earlier or later on in the day x
Hi I take 2 x1mg twice a day because of heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. I changed from furosemide which stopped working. I find I do go more than I did with furosemide, when it was working, but I also felt much better once I began taking it. I’m not battling retention like I use to. At times my blood pressure does go low but I take a lot of other tablets that lower my blood pressure. All the best.
Hi Nanatotwo I take that dose every morning as well for breathlessness and fluid retention due to lymphodema I'm back and forth loo for first 2 hours but no cramps or any side effects, but if I've got to rush out I will leave the Bumetanide 2x1 until later in the day, I see different GP's and one of them said we will stop them at some point although I'll Alway's have lymphodema! I've been on them nearly 1 year.
