stents

I had a heart attack back in July and had a stent put in, I went to cardiac gym for 8 weeks and all was fine. In October I returned to work on light duty’s, after a few weeks I found I was getting breathless this got worse till I was sent home from work due to it. I have a cardiologist appointment in a couple of weeks , but trying to find out if anyone else has had it or anything to worry about. I am fine if I don’t exert myself, just walking upstairs and I am out of breath, I am on medication. Thanks

HI

Sorry to hear you are not feeling the best, I had my stents in April and get a little breathless sometimes, however I am glad that you have an appointment with the cardiologist best to get these things checked. I had a echo the other day and my cardiologist said my heart is better than he expected! I do suffer with terrible anxiety and that make my breathlessness worse, then I get chest pain and back pain, this is my anxiety though - I do believe I 'think' myself pain! Hope you feel better soon.

Hello :-)

I had Bypasses and so not sure how stents can affect you but what I know is I always start worrying and jumping to the worst scenario ever since my heart attacks and Bypasses

How you are feeling could be numerous reasons and I am so glad you have that appointment coming up and it possibly will be nothing but even if it were they will sort it out could be a change in meds needed and nothing more but this appointment will give you the answers you need to give you peace of mind :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Hello :-)

I think so many of us make to much of changes we come across with our health after having heart events I make a big deal out of everything I feel that I think is not how it should be and tell myself it is ok but the wise think no matter what is to do what you are doing and get it checked out

Fingers crossed for you everything is ok and looking forward to hearing how you get on :-) x
