Re-diagnosed

Just had a letter from the hospital in regards to my diagnoses and it has changed and 2 years on it seems I haven't got heart failure but have been re-diagnosed as having dilated cardiomyopothy.

Just read up as I didn't have a clue about this.

No change in how I am going to approach things re diet, exercise etc. though, but it is interesting how I don't have to notify the DVLA for this whilst I did so for HF.

As folks will know I have had no mental health problems with the previous diagnosis, however the bizarre thing is now the word 'failure' has been removed it has given me a further mental boost.
