Well done on a great quiz!Me thinks some people aren't reading the questions correctly for example Which five CITIES in EUROPE have the busiest airports.

I also think there's a lot of Googling going on unless I'm extremely lacking in general knowledge! 🤪🤣🤣🤣

GrannyE profile image

Me too. I spotted that one myself so just perhaps Michael got that one wrong Himself??

It's easy to not spot a mistake when you cut and paste.

And the point of your post is exactly what? If you have nothing useful to say say nothing as plenty seem to be enjoying this quiz.

I ran out of time on Sunday so printed it off and took it into work where I tried it with colleagues over lunch.

Through the forum. I have got to know Michael, and know he has run quizzes in over 60s blocks and car homes. Please Mel don't be a LittleMel!

BigMel profile image
BigMel in reply to Heythrop51

The point being that in a previous post regarding a quiz of his he wrote,

'A short but challenging quiz today designed to stop the use of Google!'

Which is ironic when you consider he doesn't research the questions but copies and pastes them without giving credit to the websites that he gets them from.

It's called plagiarism. Presenting work or ideas from another source as your own.

It took me approximately 1 minute to find the quiz from question 1, and would have taken about 1 minute to post it on here. There are 8 questions at the end of this quiz which are not part of the copied questions, only Michael can answer where those questions came from.

If people like quizzes they can use the link to enjoy more of the same without waiting for Michael to copy and paste them.

I went on holiday to Torquay with some friends, all quizzers, on the way back we bought a quiz book to amuse ourselves on the journey home. In the evening, we did a quiz in our local pub and guess what, the very first quiz in the book was the same quiz that evening. The person who compiled the quiz was getting paid £50 per quiz for doing next to nothing and he was extremely embarrassed when we pointed out his deception.

One last point, this is very close to contravening the BHF guidelines which state:

- Post any third-party surveys, polls or material that infringes any legal rights – for example, copyright or other proprietary rights.

The answer is simple, give credit where it's due.

great quiz. I did about the same as others so maybe over half. I didn’t write the answers though because it would mean scrolling back and forth too much!

Thanks for making the quiz…always fun!
