Over a month ago now ,iwalked around edge of my bed reached up to get dressing gown from door ,and suddenly dropped like a sack of potatoes to the floor ,the impact shot through my body as far as my heart and triggered AF , Took me long time to get upright and make some recovery .Finally got to hospital where the immediate)diagnosis was Postural Drop , Kept in for investigation and recovery .6weeks on I still feel shocked and have not managed to regain my level of well-being .A caution for anyone with bisoprolol medication doctor said my dose was too high .,and can also cause syncope,a momentary loss of consciousness. My advice to anyone concerned about their medication ,is better to get it checked by your doctor. PS Don’t put it off , Save yourself a lot of pain and setback .
