Rehab Reset..

Had a telephone appt with one of the cardiac rehab nurses this afternoon. Got the letter a week or so about it and it all follows on from my troubles in June and July and theangiogram on 17th July. Some confusion about my last discharge notes which seem to suggest another HA (nstemi)!. That was a bit of a shock as no-one mentioned it in the hospital at the time. Mind you had this before back in December/January when someone put that down incorrectly on discharge notes. She's booked me in for a clinic with my cardiologist in September (he's on hols) which should clear things up and allow me and Mrs Hrty to ask the questions we forgot to answer when I was in hospital. I'm also going back to hospital rehab for a few weeks to help me start to rebuild my confidence which has taken abit of a hit. After that I should hopefully be able to resume the phase 4 stuff I was doing before this latest blip started.

Very thorough call, lasted about an hour and went through all my concerns and what had happened leading up to the angiogram.

I’m sorry to hear you may have had another NSTEMI. I hope they can give you an accurate diagnosis as to what happened last time you were in hospital. Let’s hope it was a mistake again on your records and you didn’t have another one.

September is around the corner now so I hope you enjoy the rehab! I’ve heard great things about it.

Good luck.

Hopefully we can get that cleared up when i see the cardiologist. Was not mentioned at all when I was last in which would seem a bit odd. The worry would be that if confirmed what would stop another one. I also need to get to the bottom of whether or not I have angina as again that hadn't been formally confirmed to me either and they stopped anti anginal meds after my last angiogram. I enjoyed rehab last time and hopefully going back to phase3 for a bit will allow me to get back to phase 4 soon.

Do you feel like the angina meds helped? I noticed that you said they were stopped.

Not really if I'm honest and I hated how dizzy they made me. I still hsve my spray if needed
