I hope we are all well, eating and exercising like champions.
I have some new aches and pains that may or may not be in my head.
The first sort are short stabbing muscular pains mainly in my legs but I felt them in my arms also. I suspect these are statin side effects. Does this ring true with others who believe are experiencing this?
The second is dull aches, mainly in my left arm and hand and seem to occur when I walk. Not mooching around the house but when out for daily exercise where I’m trying to get a bit of heart rate going. These ones give me some stress tbh. Any one have similar?

It’s not uncommon for statins to cause muscular aches and pains. My mum also has them, especially in her legs from the statin she takes.
In terms of the left arm pain/ache which comes on when you’re walking, have you been investigated for angina and do you have a GTN spray? This may help relieve some of that ache you feel in your arm when walking.
Sorry I couldn’t help further, but I do hope others come along with their insights.
I have both angina and a spray. I don’t quite know what to repeat in posts but fair enough this is a relevant detail.
It’s a good idea. So far inconclusive. Main reason is I tend to stop and remain stationary for a while after using the spray but I will do some more experiments.
If you see a guy fall over in the street, that’s me!
It is possible but don't just stop without advice, so talk to your GP or prescriber, it may not be the statins. My husband had aches and pains from statin intolerance and the GP switched to something different. I can't take statins either because they give me diahoria as my colestrol went up a bit I now have ezitimabe too!
Even if I can’t I’m not stopping them. The morning chorus of blister packs poppin’ at my house is keeping alive, I have some margin for side effects tolerance.
