Shortness of breath after stents

Hi, i had 2 stents placed 3 weeks ago and feel shortness of breath when i m walking do you have the same expérience ?

Hello, I had 3 stents after a Heart attack in February and noticed that although I could walk at a decent pace for a decent time I found it felt like I couldn't get a full breath .

I even used to notice this sometimes just sat relaxing.

I mentioned this to my GP and had various tests done but nothing came back showing a reason for the breath problem.

I mentioned it to my cardiologist on my first post HA visit to him and he changed my medication.

I was taking ticagrelar 2x a day .

he swapped that for clopidogrel 1x a day .

Sent me for an echocardiogram which showed no concerns .

The breathlessness has now gone !

I have also recently re run couch to 5k with no breathlessness.

This is of course just my situation and everyone else's response to their medication could be different.

But I would certainly mention it to your GP/Cardiologist as they know your individual situation .

I had H/A match 2021 had 1 stent fitted.I am still getting breathless.Walking, bending toweling my back after shower or trying to change a quilt cover is hard work. I m wondering if it is one of my meds,last week had lung function test to see if that is the issue. Many.people on here seem to have breathlessness whilst taking Tildium one of the meds I take.See what consultant says when I go back to see him. Hope your breathlessness gets sorted because it is distressing.
