what do I do now?
Hello
When you have taken your dog a walk relax after for about 30 mins then take your BP you maybe doing that already but a lot pf people will get a higher BP if they take it straight after some kind of exercise
For now avoid walking up anything that is slightly steep and contact your Doctor they can deal with your BP and maybe make you a referral if they think one is needed but in the meantime if you do keep getting chest pain due to your angina that does not go after taking your meds/spray then no matter what you think about the Hospital it is always best to go but hopefully you will get a Doctors appointment and be able to get this controlled
Let us know how you get on x
Good morning. When you see your doctor I should mention the breathless going up a slope and he might refer you to a nurse for a lung function test to see how your lungs are performing and rule that possibility out. Hope you get some answers. Brian
Hi, It looks as though you are between a rock and a hard place. I am currently taking part in an Angina Management Course, and we have been told that keeping fit is paramount to helping with angina.Therefor if you are taking exercise and that is creating a problem, ie pains in your chest, then ask your doctor what else you can do to keep fit. I suffer the same pain when I try to walk up any incline, so I stop and use my spray as well as doing breathing exercise which does help to take the pain away. We were told to breath in through our nose and fill your lungs, then out through our mouth but taking longer to exhale than inhale. This works for me, so maybe youcould give it a try.
