After three years just found out my pre op test were never sent to my Dr so nothing on there system about there finds This was valves which I was told should be kept an eye on March this year the hospital told me I am now AF but again six months on nothing on the Dr system Had to go back to hospital and ask for my report which I was told it had gone in storage Managed to track it down and take it to my Dr who was really shocked When he said your AF report isn’t here as well but Iv been getting my meds after explaining and now both reports are on the system Besides me saying never take these reports for granted being transferred do I need reg check ups for valve probs Still waiting for a appointment for AF so hope that is not some thing else to worry about

Have you written a complaint to your local PALS about how the results from your test from three years ago were never forwarded on to your doctor? If the results showed something of concern and it has not been addressed until now, I would recommend that you make an appointment with a GP and see if they feel it is suitable that you have further testing carried out to see what your valve health is like now. They would also be able to comment on whether you need regular check ups to monitor it as well.

Get your GP to make an urgent referral back to a cardiologist to follow up on your valves.

You def need regular check ups on your valves. Echocardiography surveillance is recommended . Af should also be kept under regular review.
