Dad's death

This is John's son, and unfortunately John passed away due to heart failure on the 27th of June. I would like to thank everybody who helped him on the website over the last four years of his illness, as it brought him great comfort.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your Dad , My lovely Dad also called John passed away in March this year , he was 74 and had deteriorated quite quickly with Alzheimer’s and spondylosis over recent years . They leave a huge void in our lives . You and your family are in my thoughts , god bless your dad .

Dear Johns' son, Im very sorry to learn this news. Im one that believes in signs that keep us going. For example, prior to my father passing post quadruple bi pass at 67 yo. we often walked together & very often he would see pennies on the ground. After he passed, I started finding pennies too & 99% of the time when I really needed to feel I wasn't alone. He just marked 25 years since & I now smile vs wail when I see them feeling the warmth. Boohbette17 I do hope your dad finds more treasures where he is now. I read that finding pennies is something to do with an angel watching over you. In you case,that could well be your dad. I seem to be 'wjred'to spot a penny on the ground and yet my eyesight is not that good. I suspect it is something to do with being drawn to something in perfect shape, yet something as simple as a circle. A circle of course has no end. And it is our hope that we will meet our loved ones again. Seeing pennies on the ground is a manifestation of that hope.

In the last post i saw from him it was clear that he loved you all very much, and was pleased that he was sharing his last few months surrounded by his family. Take care of each other and continue to share your memories of him always. Keep believing too, like he did, that one day you will meet again.
