Could a thorascopy that's trying to diagnose a condition with the lungs or heart be called cardiac valve surgery on medical records?

the answer should be no

cardiac valve surgery is a surgical procedure carried out to valve/s inside the heart

thorascopy is an investigation which involves a miniaturised telecopic device in a flexible tube which is inserted to view your lung cavity

but if you are waiting for any investigations, tests or hospital procedures this can affect travel insurance, in case that's why you are asking
