recently suffered a heart failure. Just started exercising gently (walking) and now seem to get a migraine after each attempt to exercise. Anyone suffered anything similar?

migraine following exercise
Hi Capta1nm
I had a very similar episode after attempting to exercise after my heart attack last year. I think it was a couple of weeks after and it was the worst migraine I had to date. I was vomiting, which has never happened before, as well as my usual migraine symptoms such as having an aura, light sensitivity and of course, excruciating pain.
I just put it down to me doing too much too soon and have paced myself since then to avoid it happening again.
I hope you get on better next time. Perhaps pace yourself, as in gentle exercises to begin with before you slowly increase this.
All the best.

There is a rare condition called cardiac cephalalgia. It's a type of headache following exercise associated with heart disease.

Have you been offered cardiac rehab or discussed this symptom with your Heart Failure Nurse or Cardiologist?
They should hopefully help guide you how best to exercise.
