Hi Lifel

I’m sorry to hear about your most recent heart attack.

Are you also undergoing cardiac rehab?

As you mentioned, the meds should improve your low/ reduced ejection fraction which I believe is what you’re referring to. Many others have been in the same position so I know a lot of people can empathise with you on here.

Please continue to take the meds as the cardiologist has advised and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Although I don’t have unstable angina, I do have a form of angina called vasospastic angina from a congenital heart defect which causes chest pain, arm pain, and upper back pain on a daily basis. My triggers are stress, whether that’s emotional, mental or physical sometimes. It also occurs predominantly on rest, but can be present when going about my daily activities.

It might be useful for you to keep a diary for your angina to help identify if you have any triggers.

Wishing you all the best on your health journey going forward.
