the long wait

hi doggie mum. I have AF and heart failure. Any improvement requires increased dose of medication. I had a very low heart rate in February and the cardiac nurse lowered my Bisoprolol. Said he would not increase medication until I had a holter test. First appointment 15 may. Got the result of that and blood test over the phone. No surprises ok to go ahead with increase in meds. Nurse told me he needs to take my BP and bloods. Even though the hospital had taken them last week and he had just read me the results. I have now got an appointment for the 20 July !! As others have said it is a long waiting game to be treated. If you do the holter test privately nhs ma not accept the results.

They will accept the results but it will cost you a few hundred to have it done.
