hello your best bet is ring citizens advice bureau, they were very helpful to me. They should be able to help. Good luck.

Citizens advice bureau at Uxbridge are not as effective, efficient as compared to other local areas.

there is a National line too - I used that one to help with what benefits I might be entitled to, gave me links and also worked figures out as an indication. I could have been more specific. Regional variations don’t help I guess. 👍

Yes, there’s a site called Benefits and Work; you have to pay for it but you can use code PT1122 in the coupon box for a 20% discount.

I used their free PIP points test to get an idea of whether I would be eligible to claim PIP; I know there are members on the forum who have used their services and spoke highly of them.

We have an Age Concern shop front in our town that offers help of this nature, they have a note in their window to this effect. Maybe give them call.
